Country superstar Toby Keith made a surprise visit to Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Mesa Riverview last night for New Years Eve. This was a totally unannounced visit to the bar and Toby got on stage for about 30 minutes and sang his songs with the house band Nick Nicholson who was playing at the time. The venue holds 1000 people and was near capacity at the time. Toby is thought to be in town for the Oklahoma game in Glendale today. People who were there got to see Toby perform for $10 which was the admission fee for the night. Toby opened with an acoustic version of “I Love This Bar” and also performed “Whiskey Girl”, a cover of Eric Clapton’s “Cocaine”and ended the set with “Courtesy of the Red White and Blue”.Share on Facebook
